The 6th annual Michigan Shines for Autism Gala will take place on Saturday, April 29th, 2017 at DTE Energy Headquarters in Detroit. This black tie gala raises critical awareness and support to help improve the lives of Michigan families affected by autism while honoring the people and organizations making an impact across Michigan.
The evening begins with a private cocktail reception hosted by the new Women Advocating for Autism in Michigan (WAAM) group alongside the event chairs, host committee and presenting sponsors followed by a silent auction filled with unique items and experiences to bid on.
Guests are then seated in the main hall for dinner and a formal program featuring the work of Autism Alliance of Michigan (AAoM) and a lineup of distinguished speakers.
Following the program, guests are invited to dance the night away at the Champions’ Night Afterglow party complete with live music by Your Generation In Concert, an open bar, late night snacks and party games.
